The program

A weekly group session where children work through realistic social, ethical and decision-making situations, guided by a trained facilitator. The core skill is the Hidden Options Method: mapping all available choices before acting, especially the ones most people overlook under pressure.
Sessions run 90–120 minutes. A situation is introduced, the group maps the options available, they test responses through role-play and discussion, and the session closes with a small real-world goal to try before the next one.
Neither. We don't teach a school syllabus and we don't provide any clinical or therapeutic service. It is structured practice at decision-making, in a group, with a facilitator.
By developmental stage across four age tracks — Explorer (6–8), Navigator (9–11), Strategist (12–14) and Architect (15–16). Cohorts are 5–10 children. If your child sits on a boundary, tell us and we'll talk it through.

Your child

The method works through structured situations, not put-you-on-the-spot performance. Quieter children often do well precisely because there's no single right answer to get wrong.
Many children do well with the structure: a predictable session shape, explicit rather than implied social reasoning, and no requirement to produce the "right" answer. We are not a clinical or specialist service, so the honest answer depends on the child — tell us what would help and we'll be straight with you about whether it's a fit.
Each 4-week cycle produces a per-child report: which "door" they reach for, how many options they map, and whether they transfer the skill to real life.
Sessions run as cohorts of 5–10 children, and the program is group work by design — there is no format in which your child is alone with an adult. Our facilitator completes a Washington State criminal-history background check before working with any child. The same facilitator stays with a cohort through its cycle, and no child is photographed without written parental consent. Full detail is on our Safety and Safeguarding page.
Natalie DuKane, our Lead Facilitator, runs the sessions. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Economics and Dance from the University of Idaho, and has spent 10+ years mentoring youth and families through dance education, leadership programs and community initiatives. The same facilitator stays with the cohort through its cycle, so children build trust with one adult rather than a rotating team. More about Natalie is on our About page, and our safety measures are on the Safety page.

Money & logistics

Monthly enrollment is $249/month. The founding rate of $149/month is available to the first 10 families and stays locked for as long as they're enrolled. All prices exclude applicable taxes. See pricing for the detail.
There's a first-session guarantee. If you're not satisfied after your child's first session, email us within 7 days and we'll refund that cycle or month's fee in full — no form, no explanation required. After that window, unattended sessions are refunded pro-rata in cash.
We have not set start dates yet. Cohorts open as each age track fills, so the first one depends on which track fills first. Join a free online info session and tell us your child's age, and we'll contact you as soon as their track has a date — you're not committing to anything by doing that.
Redmond, WA. Venue details are shared with enrolled families ahead of their first session. Sessions run 90–120 minutes, once a week, across a 4-week cycle.
A missed session gets a make-up in another cohort of the same track where one is running, or a pro-rata refund where none is.
